Pets, Projects, Community, and Technology
Chores, fun, and everything in between
Nestled in the glacial drumlin hills of Wisconsin, our rural home is our place for family, hobbies, and a professional career in technology.

Our chickens feel right at home
Suzy, Lucky, Beebe, and Alice scratch around the front yard looking for bugs. One of their favorite spots is underneath the raised bed planter along the front walk. Light breezes jingle the wind chimes and give the hummingbirds some challenge around the trumpet vines. The hens make the circuit from the coop to the rhubarb, the trumpet vines, the drive, and back to the planter. Whew! It's time for a rest after all that exercise.

We have lots of projects related to the pets and hobbies. The pond fish spend the winter lounging in an aquatic habitat in the basement. We use a light deck, full plumbing, and filters to keep their winter home sparkling.

Jim volunteers in support of the First Lego League of Wisconsin. FLL is designed to get children excited about science and technology -- and teach them valuable employment and life skills.

Jim is a career information technologist with experience in infrastructure, application development, finance, and operations.
